Visit Kiev – Learn Russian in the birthplace of Kyiv Rus!

Ukraine-Europe invites foreigners seeking to improve their Russian language skills to take part in the Summer School of the Russian Language and Culture 2012. Right in the heart of the Old Kyiv Rus, we offer you two programmes: “Russian in Practice” and “Russian for Business”.

The programmes are aimed at non-native speakers with the Russian language level of minimum A1 (Beginner).

The objective of the course: to help students master natural everyday Russian speech, to improve their speaking habits as well as to broaden their background knowledge of the Russian culture.

Course structure: 2 weeks; 6 academic hours a day (Monday through Friday). Total: 60 academic hours.

Venue: Ukraine-Europe Linguistic Centre rooms (downtown Kyiv, Ukraine).

Technical facilities: 3 rooms, Internet access, data projector, laptop, TV, DVD and CD players, scanner, fax machine, photocopier.

Lecturers: the best professionals of Kyiv National Linguistic University, Institute of International Relations and Institute of Philology of National Taras Shevchenko University, National Pedagogical Dragomanov University, Humanitarian Institute of National Aviation University.

Certification: Ukraine-Europe Linguistic Centre certificate.

Excursion: sightseeing programme in Kyiv; weekend tours to Chernigiv and Sophiyevka dendropark in Uman. Theatre programme: upon request.

Course price: 550 Euros per person for the whole course (one-to-one tuition). The price includes placement test, tuition, teaching materials, coffee breaks, and the city tour. Transportation, visa to Ukraine (if needed), accommodation and catering are paid extra.

Ukraine-Europe will help you book accommodation in Kyiv (hotel, youth hostel or apartment to rent). We will also offer you a catering plan as well as the full package of information and transport support.
