Guennadi E. Miram, Ph.D

Guennadi E. Miram is Professor of Translation Studies at the Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University. He is the author of manuals, curricula and the main lecturer (since 2007) of Ukraine-Europe Translation School.

Since 1980, Prof. Miram has worked as a simultaneous interpreter at multiple international conferences, seminars, and government events, including the East-West Congress (Finland), the press-conference of the First CIS Summit, the technical conference on metal (the Netherlands), OECD and UNIDO seminars (Turkey), ILO regional workshops (Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Turkey), Kuchma-Gore bilateral commission meeting, TACIS programme seminars, and the First Eastern European Congress on Orthopaedics and Arthroscopy (Poland). Stanislav Kuznetsov

Stanislav Kuznetsov is a lecturer (since 2008) of Ukraine-Europe Translation School. He holds an M.A. in Translation Studies from the Institute of Philology of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University where he has completed a Ph.D. course at the Department of Theory and Practice of Translation from English.

Since 2001, Stanislav has worked as an interpreter at international conferences, seminars, and government events (U.S. President George W. Bush visit to Ukraine), at events of the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, the European Network of Election Monitoring Organizations (ENEMO) mission, the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine, at TACIS programme seminars.

Stanislav Kuznetsov is officially accredited as a top professional translator of the World Bank.

 

 

Guennadi Sverdlenko

Guennadi Sverdlenko holds and M.A. in English Philology from Sumy State A.S. Makarenko Pedagogical University and has completed a post-graduate course in Translation Studies at Kyiv National Linguistic University.

He is a Senior Lecturer in Translation at the Institute of Philology of Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.

Since 2008, he is a lecturer of Ukraine-Europe Translation School.

  

 

 

Anna Potapova, Ph.D.

Anna Potapova, Ph.D. In 2006 - 2019, Anna Potapova was Reader in Theory and Practice of Translation from German at the Institute of Philology of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University and a lecturer (since 2010) of Ukraine-Europe Translation School. She holds a Ph.D. in Translation Studies from the Institute of Philology of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University.

Since 2004, Anna has worked as an interpreter at international conferences, seminars, and government events, including the International Investment & Innovation Forum, the Conference “HIV / AIDS Prevention“ in the framework of the German-Ukrainian Partnership for the fight against HIV / AIDS, events of the Anti-Monopoly Committee of Ukraine, the Netherlands-Ukrainian Sustainable Energy Platform, Austrian Economic Mission, the European Network of Election Monitoring Organizations (ENEMO) mission, German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) and more.

Anna Potapova`s working languages are English and German. 

 

Andrei Besedin

Andrei Besedin Andrei Besedin is a lecturer (since 2014) of Ukraine-Europe Translation School. He holds an M.A. in Law from International Solomon University and is a graduate of Ukraine-Europe Translation School.

Since 1999, Andrei has worked as an interpreter at international conferences (including the events of Microsoft, Windsor Software and Morgan Stanley), seminars of Twinning projects, live Bloomberg TV programmes, various TV shows (including The Bachelor, Cube and So You Think You Can Dance) as well as the British Council Ukraine theatre programmes.

Andrei Besedin is a member of the International Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (IAPTI) and American Translators Accociation (ATA). He holds ATA certification for translation from English into Ukrainian.
